Aarden Ringcroft was founded in 1998 with purpose of providing clients superior consulting and development services in and around the IBM family of collaborative technologies. Originally founded as UK Web Works the firm quickly grew, delivering interactive web applications to Fortune 500 firms including Samsung and Merrill Lynch and others.
In 2000 the firm added Adrian Cross, James Peel and Sandy Hunt--formerly of Blue Sky Communications. With this significant addition, the scale and size of projects skyrocketed. The firm achieved over 200% growth for three years in a row, winning the Deloitte & Touche "Fast 50" as one of the fastest-growing firms in the Southeast of England.
In 2001 the firm released its much anticipated TeamSmtih web content management system, selling the product into such notable firms as Priceline.com's subsidiary Active Hotels, Improvement and Development Agency for Local Government and The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
Early 2003 recognizing the enormous market presented by the Governance, Risk and Compliance market, the firm shifted its focus to document and records management solutions. Having spent years in the proprietary software industry, it was decided that open-source software consulting and implementation would also be a requirement. Marrying the two together, along with significant changes in the makeup of the development team, the firm became the first European partner of Alfresco software Inc., changing its name to Aarden Ringcroft Ltd.
Since this time Aarden Ringcroft has enjoyed numerous accolades including Alfresco partner of the year 2006 and continues to provide superior document and records management services both in the United Kingdom United States for global 2000 companies.
